@AP1984, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e is having WiFi connection issues when printing, try these troubleshooting steps:

Restart Devices

  1. Restart the printer – Turn it off, unplug it for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
  2. Restart your router – Unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in.
  3. Restart your computer or mobile device – This refreshes network settings.

Check Printer’s Network Connection

Print a Wireless Network Test Report

  • Press the WiFi or Wireless button on the printer.
  • Go to Settings > Print Reports > Wireless Test Report.
  • Check for errors on the report.

Ensure the printer is connected to WiFi

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
  • If it’s not connected, reconnect to your WiFi network.

Reconnect the Printer to WiFi

Use the HP Smart App

  • Download the HP Smart app (if not already installed).
  • Open the app and add the printer.
  • Follow on-screen instructions to reconnect it to WiFi.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
