If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e is having WiFi connection issues when printing, try these troubleshooting steps:
Restart Devices
- Restart the printer – Turn it off, unplug it for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
- Restart your router – Unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in.
- Restart your computer or mobile device – This refreshes network settings.
Check Printer’s Network Connection
Print a Wireless Network Test Report
- Press the WiFi or Wireless button on the printer.
- Go to Settings > Print Reports > Wireless Test Report.
- Check for errors on the report.
Ensure the printer is connected to WiFi
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
- If it’s not connected, reconnect to your WiFi network.
Reconnect the Printer to WiFi
Use the HP Smart App
- Download the HP Smart app (if not already installed).
- Open the app and add the printer.
- Follow on-screen instructions to reconnect it to WiFi.
