HP OfficeJet Pro 9015
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased this printer and have set it up.  Wi-Fi direct is working but no web based services will function. HP Network Configuration Page indicates that "Internet is not connected". How can I get this fixed please?

This appears to have worked just now in so much as I can now access functions from the printer that I could not before such as Instant Ink and Smart Tasks, however the Wireless Network Tests Results print out is still showing "Internet - not connected".

I will see how I get on, but htis has worked before, but then I havel ost htis connection completely.  Many thanks

.  I can print wirelessly but I cannot scan from the printer.  I need to control scanning from the computer.

II think that I have worked out what the problem is!  In my office, both the router and the printer are powered off the same multisocket.  Therefore when I switch this on upon entering my office, both the router and printer start up together.  I then find that the printer does not connect to the internet at any time during the day.  However, if I separately power down the printer and then switch it on again, it does connect to the internet via the router which is already working.

Why is it that when you switch on power to the printer at the mains socket, the printer starts up immediately rather than requiring you to press the power switch on the printer itself?

I understand your concerns.

In that case, I would suggets you please update the firmware and check.

I have just tried that.  It would not allow me to install the latest version of the firmware because it was already up to date.  I have checked again and the same thing has happened.  After switching off and then on again the printer starts immediately without pressing the power button.  It then fails to connect to the internet.  However, after powering down just the printer using the power button and then powering up again, it connects to the internet.
