Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

My HP printer has shown "offline" since I got Spectrum Internet, even though the WIFI setting shows it is connected to Spectrum.

 

I finally found a fix! (I have not found this fix on any of the support blogs and wanted to share.) I found out my printer works off of 2.4 GHz and Spectrum is 5-6GHz.  To fix, download the Spectrum app. Once signed up, click on "services." Scroll down to and choose "router." Under "advanced settings, turn on "UPnP." This helps your mobile devices and printers communicate better. Then under "Advanced Settings" choose "Set Up Smart Device on 2.4 GHz." This will change your connected devices to 2.4 GHz for 30 minutes before it reverts back to a faster speed. You will have to do this each time you want to print over WIFI.
