My HP Officejet Pro 6830 will not connect to my new Arris Surfboard G34’s wi-fi. The G34 has both a 5GHz and a 2.4GHz network. The 6830 discovers the 2.4GHz network, but after entering the wi-fi password the 6830 cannot connect. I am thinking it may be due to the 6830 not being compatible with the G34’s newer AX300 wi-fi technology. I have a slightly newer printer that is working fine on the 2.4GHz network. The 6830 worked OK on my older wi-fi that just went out. Is it time for me to upgrade my 6830 to a newer printer?

I understand you are unable to connect the printer to the network.
