UPDATE:  I ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor app and it fixed the issue.  I have no idea why there was an issue to start since everything was working properly two days before, but this resolved the issue.  

 

All of a sudden, my HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer is offline.  It will not print remotely.  It only prints if I am connected via USB cable.  I believe there was a recent software update.  I know there was a Windows 11 update, but there may have also been an HP printer update, too. Before that, I had no problems for years - in fact, I recently printed 3,000 pages with no issues.

 

I deleted the printer and re-added it and it is still saying it is offline.

I turned off my VPN to see if that was interfering and it is still offline.

 

Is HP trying to get me to purchase a new printer or something?

Does anyone have any solutions or reasons this is suddenly happening?

Nothing else has changed on my computer.
