For some reason my printer network connection was dropped and I have been unable to print to the printer. I have tried to go through the wireless network setup process but the printer cannot find my wifi network. I have removed the printer drivers and reinstalled them and now I can at least print if I connect a USB cable to the printer. I verified my router is sending a 2.4 signal.

Hi @Madden50,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Officejet Pro 8715 printer has stopped printing on your wireless network, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Restart your printer and router: Turn off your printer and router, wait for a few seconds, and turn them back on. This can help to refresh the connection between your devices.
- Check your wireless network connection: Make sure your printer and router are connected to the same wireless network. If they are not, connect them to the same network.
- Check the printer's wireless settings: Check that the printer's wireless settings are correctly configured. On the printer's control panel, go to "Wireless" or "Network" settings and ensure that the printer is connected to your wireless network.
- Reinstall the printer driver: If your printer driver is outdated or corrupted, it may cause connection issues. Reinstall the printer driver by downloading the latest version from the HP website and installing it on your computer.
- Reset the printer's network settings: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting your printer's network settings. On the printer's control panel, go to "Wireless" or "Network" settings, select "Restore Network Defaults," and follow the instructions.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
