Hi @dhartz ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your frustration. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue:

  • Restart Your Printer and Computer: Sometimes a simple restart can solve connectivity issues. Turn off both your printer and computer, wait for a minute, and then turn them back on.
  • Check Network Settings on the Printer: Make sure that your HP OfficeJet Pro 9250 is properly connected to your WiFi network. You can usually do this through the printer's control panel or settings menu.
  • Check WiFi Signal Strength: Ensure that your printer is within range of your WiFi router and that there are no physical obstructions blocking the signal.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Visit the HP website to check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Check Router Settings: Make sure that your router is not blocking the printer from connecting to the WiFi network. Check the router settings, particularly any firewall or access control settings that might be preventing the printer from connecting.
  • Factory Reset the Printer: As a last resort, you can try performing a factory reset on your printer. Keep in mind that this will erase all settings and configurations, so you'll need to set up the printer again from scratch.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
