I have a problem with web access to our office printer. 

The printer model is  HP PageWide Pro 477dw MFP.

 

On the printer the printing is not working, we tried to fix it at the official service in Serbia, but they told us that the repair is not worth it, so we want just to use it as a scanner. I reset the printer to defaults and now when I access the web interface via IP address, I can't change anything because the user name/password is incorrect. I tried everything.
admin/admin, just admin/password field blank, to insert the password that I set it up before reset and nothing is working.
I found one topic on this forum, but I can't try to apply it because I can't print. In any case, one of the solutions is to print "Printer information" and put the WPS pin as a password. I don't know if this would work, but I can't try it in any way.

Can you please help me how to solve this problem? Thank you.

Good Afternoon,

 

Hope you are fine, the most recommended way to unlock a printer is performing a factory reset from the printer set up menu, once the printer is reset,  I havent seen that a WPS would work, WPS may be for connectivity only with the modem, once you get the IP address you may be able to access the web server, if you gain access to web server, please try downloading HP Smart app and connect it with the printer for scanning.
