I just upgraded to the Arris Surboard G36 modem/router with Xfinity. I read through some articles and I separated the dual band. I now have a separate SSID for the 5G and 2.4G bands. I have my phone, and laptop on the 2.4g network too. I tried to connect the printer to the 2.4g network using the Wireless Setup Wizard, put in my wifi password multiple times but it won't connect. I tried resetting the printer to factory settings and tried to re-connect but still unsuccessful. This printer is about 10 years old now. Is it just time to upgrade? If so, what HP Officejet printer works with 5G bands?

Page 48 of the 7520 users manual indicates that the printer supports WPA and WEP
Windows 11 no longer supports WEP and according to this document there is a bug in windows 11 causing problems with WPA.
There is a firmware update to the 7520 printer to improve security. Possibly the firmware added WPA2 or WPA3 compatibility. Otherwise try that regedit fix for WPA
