Hi everyone,

I’m trying to connect my HP printer to a wireless network, but I keep getting this error:

“Authentication Failed. Authentication Ticket Mismatched, failed authentication.”

Details:

  • Printer: HP LaserJet Pro MFP

  • OS: Windows 11

  • Network: Home Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz)

  • Firmware & drivers: Updated to latest version

  • Steps tried: Restarted printer & router, re-entered Wi-Fi password, cleared cache, tried USB setup

The printer fails to connect even though the Wi-Fi is working fine for other devices.

Has anyone experienced this issue or found a reliable solution? Any tips to fix authentication ticket mismatches would be really helpful.
