The WPA passphrase is simply the password needed to access the router. Typically this password is the same as the Wi-Fi password and is stamped or printed on the router. It is possible, and frequently desirable, to change the Wi-Fi password. If the modem in inadvertently reset then the Wi-Fi passwords are reset back to the default that is printed on the router.
If your password is being rejected verify that you have not misinterpreted some of the characters. For example, the keys i1lL0OoS5B8 can easily be mistaken.
The problem could also be in the printer. Some routers / gateways use Protected Management Frames (PMF) services that may not be handled properly by the printer. A firmware update to the printer is required as explained in this article.
