Both printer and PC on same wifi but the HP Scan and Capture says, "Device cannot be found".

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please let me know the printer's name and the model number along with the network setup of the HP device so that I can assist you further?
However, in the meantime could you please follow the steps provided below and give us an update?
1. We would suggest that you try the HP Scan software.
2. Could you please download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:
3. The following resource will help you:
http://123.hp.com/us/en/
4. Key is in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
5. Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
