~2-1/2 years ago I thought it'd be an excellent idea to set up a password on my printer that totally disables the onscreen menus. It probably was at the time as our daughter was rather casual in how she used many things and I spent a lot of time fixing them.

 

Now I need to get into my Wireless configuration and can't because I can't remember the password.

 

Does anyone know how to reset either the printer or HP Smart so I can get my printer working again?

 

If so, many, many thanks.

No, there was no option to change the password on my printer.

 

Please close the ticket though as I've moved on and have purchased a Canon printer.

See if it gives you an option to create a new password or reset the password to your account.

I was able to change my HP account password but I do not see where, in HP Smart, I have the option to reset the printer password.
