Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Check Printer Power & Connection
Make sure the printer is turned on.
If it’s a wireless setup, confirm the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or phone.
For USB, ensure the cable is securely connected.
Restart Devices
Restart your printer, computer or phone, and your Wi-Fi router.
Printer’s Network Status
On the printer control panel, check if the wireless icon shows connected or any error message.
You can print a Network Configuration page from the printer menu to verify its IP address and network status.
Update/Reinstall HP Smart App
Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app.
If needed, uninstall and reinstall the app.
Add Printer Manually
In HP Smart, try adding the printer manually using its IP address (found in the Network Configuration page).
