This is so weird. Nothing will work, including rebooting the Wi-Fi, and unplugging and plugging printer in, turning power off and on.

Welcome to the HP English Community --

Everything is a lot -- it can get to be a bit overwhelming when things just refuse to get better.

Unfortunately, none of the steps you describe have any impact on configuring the wireless if the setup is missing, corrupted, has changed, or is otherwise not able to recover whatever you thought you have installed previously.

Where to look for help?

There is a lot of information in your printer's online support website

A good reference:

User manual

 User Guide - HP Smart Tank series - 6000, 7000, 7300

Open Category Troubleshooting > Topic Printing > Subtopic Wireless & Network

For example,

Perhaps start with this one:

Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer

There are also Troubleshooting documents (and on later pages, videos) to help you test, configure, and change the settings.

A few Examples

Video Sample

How to restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer.

Example - Printer on Network - Embedded Web Server (EWS) - IPv4 setup

EWS > HP Document / How-to (original format)

Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

NOTE:  Find printer IP address

Section Open the EWS over a local network orientation

Ethernet

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Network > Wired (802.3) > IPv4 Configuration

Wireless

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Network > Wireless (802.11) > IPv4 Configuration

As Available:

Tab Network > Wireless (802.11) > Advanced

Network Interface on / off, Network SSID name, Security Settings, Passphrase / Password

Select and connect to the correct SSID / network name for the bandwidth you are using.

Note:   It is not mandatory that you use a manual / static IP address.  Doing so can improve stability.
