Hi @Kbprouty,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy 4500 won't turn on after being unplugged and plugged back in, there are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue.

  • Check Power Connection: Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into both the printer and the power outlet. Sometimes, a loose connection can prevent the printer from turning on.
  • Inspect Power Cord: Examine the power cord for any signs of damage, such as fraying or kinks. If you notice any damage, try using a different power cord to see if that resolves the issue.
  • Reset Printer: Disconnect the power cord from the printer and wait for about a minute. Then, plug the power cord back in and try turning the printer on again. This can sometimes reset the printer and resolve minor issues.
  • Check Power Outlet: Ensure that the power outlet is working properly by plugging in another device, such as a lamp or phone charger, to see if it powers on.
  • Test with Another Outlet: Try plugging the printer into a different power outlet to rule out any issues with the original outlet.
  • Inspect for Damage: Carefully inspect the printer for any signs of physical damage, such as cracks or broken parts.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot the issue with your HP Envy 4500 printer not turning on after being unplugged and plugged back in.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
