Hi @Nlhjacob,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I understand you have issues connecting your printer to the network.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Are you able to print from other devices connected to the same network?

Are your printer and router connected to the same home network?

Please share the operating system you are running on your PC to assist you better.

Splendid analysis and remarkable patience shown. It is immensely appreciated.

Check the router band: Many routers can operate in both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz frequency bands, but not all HP printers support both bands. Make sure the 2.4 GHz router band is enabled and broadcasting. If the router broadcasts separate network names (SSIDs) for each band, connect the printer to the 2.4 GHz band SSID.

Bonjour support: HP recommends routers that support Bonjour, Apple's network discovery software. Connecting with Bonjour is the best way to find the printer and support wireless printing.

Restart the computer, printer, and router

Restart the computer, printer, and router to resolve any error states present during the printer setup.
NOTE: The following steps temporarily disconnect network and Internet connections, and require restarting your computer. Complete any tasks or downloads in progress before continuing.
Disconnect the power cord from the router.
Turn off the printer.
Close all running programs on your computer, including the HP software installation window, then shut down the computer.
Reconnect the power cord to the router, then wait for the Internet activity light to display a normal connected status.
Turn on the printer.

Restore the printer network settings to default and connect the printer back to the network.

1. From the Home screen on the product control panel, touch the Setup button.
2. Scroll to and touch the Service menu.
3. Scroll to and touch the Restore Defaults button, and then touch the OK button.
The product automatically restarts.

Connect the printer to the network

Use the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer to connect it to your wireless network.

On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon to open the Wireless menu.

Touch Wireless Setup Wizard, select your network name from the list of available networks, and then follow the on-screen instructions to enter the password and complete the connection.
