This is very similar to another post I had seen on an 6020. After a period of inactivity (days in this case) the printer does nothing. The on-off button does not work. No buttons work. Both Ubuntu 20.4 LTS and ChromeOS see the printer but it does nothing.
The printer is about 30cm away from the wi-fi router.
This has happened a few times and the only thing to do is unplug it and wait for it to come back online. One one occasion when this happenend in the past I had to effectively re-install the printer as it would not come back online.
Very irritating and I hope this does not happen when I urgently need to print something off.

Issue could be caused by several things.
For example: Distance, obstacles, setup, corrupted printer software, old firmware (on printer or router).
Example
HP ENVY 6000 All-in-One Printer series Firmware Update
What else?
Disconnects might be due to an increase in the number of devices on the network that strains the resources. Check the logs on the router to see what it thinks is happening.
What else?
This printer supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz - but not at the same time.
That means, the printer cannot be switch frequency / bandwidth on the fly.
How you have set up your network impacts how the printer connects - or disconnects - on the network.
For example, Mesh networks that use the same SSID network name may not be suitable for this printer.

What else?
Consider assigning a manual / static IP address to the printer.
Assign the IP address in the router (log in and set up the address).
Set / Assign the (same) IP address on the printer.
Where available, Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to set the IP address (easier typing).
EWS is available on your browser and in HP Smart Windows and HP Smart Mobile > Settings > Advanced
Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Network > Wireless (802.11) > IPv4 Configuration
And
Tab Network > Wireless (802.11) > Advanced
