hy printer is connected and configured correctly according to the print out test pages. but it will not print from any other app on my asus laptop , its on the same network  and even when i set it up for usb function it still will not queue any print jobs nor will it print out anything sent to it . it wont print from adobe acrobat from word or any other document or picture . its brand new  ive already installed and uninstalled software and drivers numerous time . It will print out a test print page but other than that its a no go.. help!!!

I understand you are facing a printing issue with your HP ENVY Pro 6455 All-In-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

To assist you better:

  • I would like to know if the printer is connected to your PC wireless or wired?
  • Do you use VPN on your PC?

While you respond to that, I request you to try the below steps:

 

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue
  • Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
  • ​​​​​​​If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your printer.
    • Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Run Windows Update on your PC once as well: Select Start > Settings > Windows Update, then select Check for updates. If updates are available, you can choose to install them and then try to print and check.
