Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

My labtop works perfect with my HP officejet 8600 Pro.

My Smartphone Samsung A55 does not recognise it any more.

Could you pls help???

II did tried the HP Smart but....nothing at all.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help your Samsung A55 smartphone recognize your HP OfficeJet 8600 Pro:

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure both your smartphone and the printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, if they are on different networks, they may not recognize each other.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your HP OfficeJet 8600 Pro printer, your Samsung A55 smartphone, and your router. This can resolve connectivity issues.

Update HP Smart App:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your smartphone. Check for updates in the Google Play Store.

Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall the HP Smart app from your smartphone and then reinstall it from the Google Play Store. This can help reset any issues with the app.

Check Printer Settings:

  • On your printer, make sure that wireless printing is enabled. You can check this from the printer’s control panel:
    • Go to Wireless or Network settings and ensure that the wireless connection is active.
    • Print a network configuration page to check the printer’s network settings.

Reconnect Printer to Network:

  • If the network configuration page shows any issues, you might need to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network:
    • On the printer, go to Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the prompts to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.

Check for Interference:

  • Ensure there are no significant sources of interference between your smartphone and the printer (e.g., thick walls or electronic devices).

Printer Discovery:

  • Open the HP Smart app and try to add your printer manually. Tap + to add a new printer and follow the on-screen instructions.

Printer Firmware Update: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up-to-date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel.
