I posted this a while ago and life got in the way.
I get an Error Message that the printer needs intervention. At first, I thought it was a driver problem on my tower but I tried to print on my laptop, both running win 10, and received the same error message. This leads me to think it is something in the printer. If I run the Printer Troubleshooter, the application runs to completion and the print job is completed. There is no error found with the troubleshooter. The Firmware version is SPP5FN2223AR.
I just ran a printer Status Report with no problem.
Any suggestions?
The Printer Status indicated "Attention Required" but no clue as to what needs to be done. I have uninstalled the HP Smart and the driver applications, rebooted the PC and re-installed both applications. This happens mostly when printing from an Adobe application but I have also seen this on printing from Yahoo email.
This time I'll watch for replies.

Today I wanted to print from my ACER laptop running Win 10 using the wireless network. The application was Open Office Text. The print function opens and I selected Print. Nothing happened so I ran the Printer Troubleshooter. It found no error. I Powered OFF the printer with the Power Button then waited 30 seconds and powered ON the printer. After the initial boot sequence the page I wanted printed with no intervention on my part.
This non-functioning printing is from two different PC's and two different applications.
I have check and installed all the latest updates as well as re-installing the HP SMART application and the driver.
What is the problem?
