My HP7001 will not connect to wifi.  I will say at the beginning that it seems like the printer wifi radio is not working.  Here is what I have done to troubleshoot the problem:

1) My laptop (Win 11) does have wifi connectition.  I followed the HP troubleshooter and it recommended I reboot my router, which I did.

2) I followed the wifi quick start guide - reboot printer, press info button. all lights on HP panel are lit.  Hold wifi and cancel buttons until power button blinks.  The power button never blinked.

3) I tried to re-install the print driver. It goes to the point where it is to detect the printer. I tried each option including the one that asks for the ip address (192.168 etc). The printer is not found in any of the options.

 

My printer only has two connections in the back - power and usb (usb is usb-b)

Does my printer need to be repaired or is there something more I can do?
