To successfully send a scan to email in my HP 9025, in addition to the email address, the unit is now requiring an entry into the subject line. If the subject line is left blank (as it always has been) , the unit says the email is sent, but are not received. Enter a letter into the subject line, and they are received. Ideas to correct??

I recently ( a few months ago ) retired my OfficeJet Pro 9025 - nice printer.
I do have some notes on the Scan-to-Email setup both for the Profile setup and the "Email Options" section.
Try / Consider
Edit the Email Options to include a default subject line of your Choosing.
See Illustration - Example #2 - section "Default Subject and Body Text".
