@Brian9369, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your HP LaserJet M209dwe printer. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to get it connected:

Restart Devices:

  • Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
  • Router: Unplug your router, wait for 30 seconds, and plug it back in.
  • Computer/Device: Restart the device you're using to set up the printer.

Check Network Settings:

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and in a ready state.
  • Verify that the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device.

Reset Printer:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and unplug it from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, then press and hold the power button on the printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

Use HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer and complete the setup.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
