I recently purchased an HP smart tank 6001. I connected it to my Wi-Fi at first but every time I try to print something it is no longer connected. Why won’t it stay connected? How do I find the password to it so I could use the Wi-Fi direct

For WiFi direct setup see page 36 click here.
This is useful if there is no modem or you do not want to give someone access to your modem but you want to let them print something.  Do a network report to get the password and SSID.

Simple push button or WPS setup is described on page 19 of above Users Manual

Let me know if you have a flex system (WiFi boosters or repeaters) as the setup is much more complicated.
