PRINTER WON'T PRINT THRU WIRELESS CONNECTION. IT SHOWS CONNECTED. COMPUTER SHOWS CONNECTED. HAVE RESET ROUTER. IN PRINTER DEVICE MENU. IT SHOWS AN ERROR IN STATUS OF PRINTER. USING HP SMART, SHOWED AN ERROR UNTIL I RESET ROUTER. NOW SHOWS STATUS AS ACTIVE. STILL NO WIRELESS PRINTING.
ONLY THING I SAW POPUP ERROR SOMEWHERE SAYING INK WAS NOT HP ORIGINAL INK BUT ONCE I WENT THRU THE INITIAL SETUP ROUTINE AGAIN, THE STATUS SHOWED OK IN THE HP SMART APP. IT PRINTS COPIES BUT NOT WIRELESS. I TURNED OFF WI-FI DIRECT BUT DIDNT HELP. DIDNT SET UP AGAIN THE ePrint BECAUSE IT HADNT WORKED W IT ON.
SHOULD I RESET? I TRIED FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS SAYING TO HIT THE BACK KEY ON THE SCREEN 4X TO GET "SUPPORT MENU". BACKBUTTON ONLY WORKS 1 EACH TIME. SO NO GO.
IF I DO RESET, WILL IT CAUSE PROBLEMS??
IF NOT, HOW TO DO IT

@J1LIST, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
As you are able to make copies on the printer, the printer hardware is working fine. This is a connectivity issue between the printer and the PC.
On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings
Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.
- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
Try printing.
If the issue persists, click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions. Now, try printing without using the HP Smart app.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
