Hi @Dor1101 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY 7645 e-All-in-One Printer is showing as offline, try the following steps to get it back online:
1. Check the Printer's Connection
- Wireless Connection: Ensure your printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network. Check the printer's display for the network status or the Wi-Fi indicator.
- USB Connection: If you're using a USB connection, make sure the cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.
- Ethernet Connection: If using Ethernet, ensure the cable is properly connected.
2. Check Printer Status
- On the printer's display, go to Setup > Network Setup (or similar), and verify that the printer is connected to the correct network.
- You can also print a network configuration page to confirm its connection settings.
3. Restart the Printer
- Turn off the printer, wait for 10-15 seconds, and then turn it back on. This can help reset any connection issues.
4. Restart Your Computer
- Restart your computer to ensure that any connection issues are resolved from the computer side.
5. Restart the Router
- Sometimes the router may be causing the issue. Restart your router to refresh the connection to your printer.
6. Set Printer to Online Mode in Windows
- Windows 11:
- Open Control Panel and go to Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your HP ENVY 7645 printer, and select See what's printing.
- In the print queue window, click Printer in the menu and ensure Use Printer Offline is not checked.
- If it is checked, uncheck it to bring the printer online.
- Windows 10:
- Open Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP printer, click Manage, then click Set as default.
- If it still shows offline, try restarting the print spooler service:
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Locate Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.
7. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers
- If the printer is still offline, try updating or reinstalling the drivers. Go to HP Support and download the latest drivers for your HP ENVY 7645.
8. Reinstall HP Smart App (if using it)
- If you're using the HP Smart app, uninstall and reinstall it to resolve any app-related issues.
9. Check Firewall or Security Software
- Sometimes security software or firewalls can block the printer's connection. Temporarily disable your firewall or security software to test if this is the issue.
