My roommate moved out and the internet provider is under my name which comes with new password. That logged me out of my printer using the old internet and now I can connect to my wireless printer because you need a password to access the printer WiFi. I must’ve threw out my old manual and don’t know what the password is, what do I do?

Hi,

Make sure there is no USB cable connected to the printer, and that the printer is ready with a solid power light (press X to wake the printer from sleep).

Press and hold the wireless button for about 20 seconds, only when the Attention light ( ! ) starts blinking release the button and allow the printer to restart.

Make sure your wireless device is connected to your home Wi-Fi, open HP Smart and  click the plus sign, if your printer is not listed click Add Printer and follow the steps to connect the printer to your network.

Once completed, the blue wireless light should solid lit.
