How can I print off something from iPhone 11pro max

Hi there, 

I bought a hp C4580 printer some time ago and never really used it. I can find the handbook. I have a power cable but no Ethernet cable. I need to print things off my iPhone 11 but I don’t know how to connect the printer to the internet or my phone?  Do I need an Ethernet cable so I can plus it into my router? I don’t have a laptop to do it through. 
any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

I understand you are trying to print from your iPhone. You will need to connect the printer wirelessly. 

You may connect the printer to the network as shown in this document - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

• Make sure the printer and the iPhone are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
• If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
• Also, check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'.

• Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records. The software comes built-in with Apple's macOS and iOS operating systems.

Download and install the HP Smart app from App Store. Try printing using this app.
