How do I assign a static IP to an HP M507?

Ok, I've been at this for HOURS!! How the heck do I assign a static IP to this printer? Every time I try it just locks up and refuses to do anything until I reset the config method back to BOOTP. We use this at work, we need it to use a static IP! I tried contacting support already, they were completely unwilling to help at all! I'm kind of loosing patience here and I need to go home soon. 

Just FYI, we only recently purchased these! I've also had very similar issues with the other ones we purchased but I was eventually able to get it to work.

I've tried that but it just stops working. I noticed today however that if I just change the very last set of digits it works fine but if I try to set the IP to the one I need it locks up again (same thing happens if I just change the second to the last set of digits). Unfortunately the address I need it to use has a different host part (last two sections of the IP address). Usually this isn't a problem, I've been able to do this with plenty of printers in the past. It's just this one that refuses to accept the new host part. I had similar issues with two other HP printers but either the issue resolved itself eventually or a factory reset worked but this printer just stays unresponsive until I manually reset it back to BOOTP from the printers controls.

*facepalm* Ok, now I feel dumb lol. I ended up contacting our network guy only to find out I was plugged into the wrong port on the router.
