Hi @jksr,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

1. Prepare for Setup:

  • Make sure your printer is powered on.
  • Ensure you know your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.

2. Reset Network Settings on the Printer:

  • On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button simultaneously for 3 seconds until the Power button starts to flash. This will restore the printer's network settings to factory defaults.

3. Use the HP Smart App for Setup:

  • Download the HP Smart App:
    • If you haven’t already installed it, download and install the HP Smart app on your mobile device or computer from HP Smart.
  • Open the HP Smart App:
    • Launch the HP Smart app and make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want your printer to connect to.
  • Add Your Printer:
    • Tap the + icon or Add Printer.
  • Follow On-Screen Instructions:
    • The app will detect the printer. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

4. Manual Wireless Setup Wizard (Alternative Method):

  • On your printer control panel, touch and hold the Information button until all control panel buttons light up.
  • Touch the Wireless button to print the Network Configuration page.
  • HP Smart App Setup:
    • Open the HP Smart app and click on Set Up a New Printer.
    • The app will search for the printer. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

5. Connect Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS):

  • Ensure Router Supports WPS:
    • Make sure your wireless router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) and has a WPS button.
  • Activate WPS on Printer:
    • Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for at least 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts blinking.
  • Press the WPS Button on Router:
    • Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
  • The wireless light on the printer will stop blinking once it successfully connects to the network.

I hope this helps.
