My printer report confirms that my printer is connected to my wireless network, however I cannot print - without defaulting to the Wi-Fi direct option - which means I have to exit my wifi to print (and so lose connection to my online meeting).  How do I disable the Wi-Fi direct so that I can print from my wireless network?

Wi-Fi Direct is a toggle on most printers that support the option.

Toggle the setting on the printer control panel display to disable the feature.

 

For this printer, switch off Wi-Fi Direct using the button combination described in the User Guide

Turn Wi-Fi Direct on or off

Press and hold the Information button for at least three seconds to light all the buttons, then press the Information, Cancel and Resume buttons at the same time.
