Hi @MikeS-26,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I'm sorry to hear your printer has disconnected from your Wi-Fi—it can be frustrating when you're unable to reconnect. Let's work through it step by step to get your HP Deskjet 3054A back online.

Confirm the Wi-Fi Network Details

  • Make sure you know your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
  • If your router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), locate the WPS button on it.

Activate WPS PIN Mode on the Printer

  • On your HP Deskjet 3054A printer, press the Wireless button to open the wireless menu.
  • Select Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), then choose PIN.
  • A WPS PIN will be displayed on the printer’s screen. Write this down.

Enter the PIN on Your Router or Network Settings

  • Log into your router’s configuration page using your web browser. (Typically, the router's IP address is something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.)
  • Navigate to the WPS settings section.
  • Enter the WPS PIN generated by your printer and apply the settings.

Complete the Connection

  • Wait for the printer to display a message indicating it has connected successfully to the Wi-Fi network.
  • The wireless light on the printer should stop blinking and remain solid.

Install or Update Printer Drivers

  • If your printer doesn’t reconnect automatically to your computer, download the latest drivers from the HP Support website.
  • Follow the installation process to ensure your computer communicates with the printer over Wi-Fi.
