@Faye72, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're having trouble getting your HP printer back online. No worries, I’ll guide you through a few steps to help resolve this issue.

Check Printer Status

  1. On your Windows PC, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  2. Right-click your printer and check if it says "Use Printer Offline".
  3. If it’s checked, click it to uncheck and bring the printer online.

Restart Devices

  • Power off your printer, router, and computer.
  • Wait for 30 seconds.
  • Turn on the router first, then the printer, and finally your computer.

Check Printer Connection

  • If you're using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is connected to the correct network.
  • On the printer control panel, go to Wireless Settings > Wireless Network Test Report to verify the connection.
  • For USB or Ethernet, ensure the cable is securely connected.

Reinstall the Printer (if needed)

If the issue persists:

  1. Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  2. Remove your printer.
  3. Reinstall it using the latest drivers from HP: Official HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
