How do I get my printer out of sleep mode

Hi @Nefrura3,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To wake up an HP printer from sleep mode, you can follow these general steps.

  • Verify that the printer's power cable is properly connected to both the printer and a working power source. Ensure that the printer has power and that the power indicator light is on.
  • Check the printer's control panel or display for any buttons or icons related to sleep mode. Look for a power button, a wake-up button, or an icon that resembles a moon or Zzz (representing sleep mode).
  • Press the power button or the designated wake-up button on the printer's control panel. If you see a sleep mode icon, press that icon to exit sleep mode.
  • Wait for a few seconds to allow the printer to wake up and become fully operational. The printer's display should come back to life, and you may hear the printer initializing.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
