Hi @Joshua121,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're unable to print a PDF from Google Drive using your HP DeskJet 2734e All-in-One Printer, it may be because the printer is not properly added to your device's list of printers or there's an issue with how Google Drive is handling the print command.

Here's a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and fix this:

Step 1: Ensure Your Printer is Added to Your Device

For Windows:

  1. Open Settings: Click on the Start menu, then the Settings gear icon.
  2. Go to Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  3. Make sure your HP DeskJet 2734e is listed under Printers & Scanners.
    • If it's not listed, click Add a Printer or Scanner and follow the on-screen instructions to add it.
  4. Once the printer is added, make sure it's set as your default printer.

For Mac:

  1. Open System Preferences: Click the Apple logo in the top left and select System Preferences.
  2. Click Printers & Scanners.
  3. Ensure the HP DeskJet 2734e is listed. If not, click the + sign to add it.
  4. Select the printer and set it as the default if needed.

For Chromebooks:

  1. Go to Settings: Click on the clock in the bottom-right corner of the screen, then the gear icon for settings.
  2. Scroll down to Advanced and find Printing.
  3. Under Printers, make sure your HP DeskJet 2734e is listed. If not, click Add Printer and follow the steps.

Step 2: Make Sure Printer is Selected in Google Drive

  1. Open Google Drive and navigate to the PDF you want to print.
  2. Open the PDF and click on the Print icon (usually represented by a printer symbol).
  3. In the print dialog box, ensure your HP DeskJet 2734e is selected as the destination printer.
    • If your printer doesn't show up, click on See more or Destination and select your HP DeskJet from the list.

Step 3: Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi (If Needed)

  1. If the printer is not showing up at all, you may need to reconnect it to your Wi-Fi.
  2. Open the HP Smart app on your device and follow the steps to reconnect the printer to your network.

Step 4: Test Print from a Different App

  • Try printing a PDF or document from a different app, like Word or a simple Notepad document, to see if the issue is limited to Google Drive or if it persists across other applications.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

This is not your everyday printer. I actually connected it via Wi-Fi. As far as I know, he can only be connected using a secure signal of 2.4 GHz.
