How do I reconnect my printer to wifi

To reconnect your printer to Wi-Fi, follow these steps. The exact process may vary slightly depending on your printer model, but the general approach is similar.

1. Ensure Printer is Powered On

  • Make sure your printer is turned on and in a ready state.

2. Access the Printer’s Control Panel

  • On the printer’s control panel or touchscreen, navigate to the Wireless or Network settings menu.

3. Connect Using Wireless Setup Wizard

  • Open Wireless Setup Wizard:
    • HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e: On the printer's control panel, select Setup (gear icon), then Network Setup or Wireless Setup Wizard.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the Wi-Fi password.

4. Use HP Smart App (Alternative Method)

  • Install HP Smart App:
    • Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device from the HP website or your device’s app store.
  • Add Printer:
    • Open the HP Smart app, click on Add Printer, and follow the prompts to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network. The app will guide you through the setup process.

5. Check for Printer Connectivity

  • Print Network Configuration Page:
    • Many printers have an option to print a network configuration page from the control panel. This page will show you the current network status and IP address of the printer.
  • Verify Connection:
    • Ensure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the network settings are correct.

6. Reinstall Printer Software (If Needed)

  • Remove and Reinstall Printer:
    • On your computer, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners (Windows) or System Preferences > Printers & Scanners (Mac).
    • Remove the printer if it’s listed, then click Add a printer or scanner to reinstall it, following the setup instructions.

7. Restart Devices:
