Hi @MissTee313,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To reconnect your printer to Wi-Fi, follow these steps. The exact process may vary slightly depending on your printer model, but the general approach is similar.
1. Ensure Printer is Powered On
- Make sure your printer is turned on and in a ready state.
2. Access the Printer’s Control Panel
- On the printer’s control panel or touchscreen, navigate to the Wireless or Network settings menu.
3. Connect Using Wireless Setup Wizard
- Open Wireless Setup Wizard:
- HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e: On the printer's control panel, select Setup (gear icon), then Network Setup or Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the Wi-Fi password.
4. Use HP Smart App (Alternative Method)
- Install HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device from the HP website or your device’s app store.
- Add Printer:
- Open the HP Smart app, click on Add Printer, and follow the prompts to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network. The app will guide you through the setup process.
5. Check for Printer Connectivity
- Print Network Configuration Page:
- Many printers have an option to print a network configuration page from the control panel. This page will show you the current network status and IP address of the printer.
- Verify Connection:
- Ensure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the network settings are correct.
6. Reinstall Printer Software (If Needed)
- Remove and Reinstall Printer:
- On your computer, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners (Windows) or System Preferences > Printers & Scanners (Mac).
- Remove the printer if it’s listed, then click Add a printer or scanner to reinstall it, following the setup instructions.
7. Restart Devices:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on:
- Restart your Wi-Fi router to ensure it’s functioning correctly.:
- Sometimes a restart of your computer can resolve connection issues.
8. Troubleshoot Network Issues:
- Make sure your printer is trying to connect to the correct Wi-Fi network, especially if you have multiple networks:
- Ensure the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router to receive a strong signal.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
