Resetting the Web Security Password for HP Officejet 4630

To reset the web security password on your HP Officejet 4630, follow these steps:

  1. Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS):

    • Open a web browser on your computer.
    • Enter the printer’s IP address into the address bar and press Enter. You can find the IP address on the printer’s display screen under the Wireless Settings menu.
  2. Navigate to the Security Settings:

    • Once you are on the EWS homepage, go to the settings menu.
    • Find the Security or Administrator Settings section.
  3. Reset Password:

    • Look for an option to reset the web password.
    • You may be asked to enter some verification information (such as a current password or answer a security question) before you can proceed with the password reset.
  4. Follow On-screen Instructions:

    • Follow the instructions on the screen to reset the password. This may include entering a new password and confirming it.
  5. Save Changes:

    • Once the password has been reset, make sure to save the changes.

Alternatively, I just reset HP Desk jet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer series EWS password by restoring printer network to factory defaults from its screen. Thank you.
