How do I reconnect the wireless for my HP envy pro 6455

To reset and reconnect the wireless on your HP Envy Pro 6455 printer, follow these steps.

 

Reset the Wireless Connection

  1. Restore Network Settings:
    • Turn on your printer, if it’s not already on.
    • Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button on the printer simultaneously for about 3 seconds until the Power button starts blinking. This restores the printer's wireless settings to their defaults.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi

Reconnect the Printer Using the HP Smart App:

  • Download and open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Make sure your device is connected to the Wi-Fi network you want the printer to connect to.
  • Follow the steps in the app to Add a Printer. The app will detect the printer and guide you through connecting it to your Wi-Fi.

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) (If Your Router Supports It):

  • On your printer, press and hold the Wireless button for about 3 seconds until it starts blinking.
  • On your router, press the WPS button within 2 minutes. The printer will connect automatically.

Confirm Connection

  1. Print a Network Configuration Report:
    • Press the Information button on the printer to print a report that shows connection details, confirming that the printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network.


This should help reset and reconnect your HP Envy Pro 6455 printer to your wireless network.
