How do I retrieve forgotton printer password ? I have moved house and need to set up printer on new

Trying to set up printer at new address on new network. Device is asking me to put in printer password but I’ve forgotton it as haven’t used the printer for over a year.  How do I retrieve the password and or how do I set the printer up when the set up option isn’t appearing in my list of Wi-Fi networks ?

I understand you have forgotten the admin password for your HP Printer.  HP does not save any password.

Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We have to perform a Semi Full Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password. 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

To provide you with the reset instructions May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
