Hi @steve6491,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Printer Power
- Ensure that the printer is turned on. If it isn’t, press the power button to turn it on.
Restart Printer and Router
- Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Restart your router by unplugging it, waiting a few seconds, and plugging it back in.
- After your router has fully restarted, plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check Network Connection
- Ensure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
- On the printer’s control panel, check for any network status messages or errors. Follow the prompts to connect to Wi-Fi.
Reconfigure Printer Network Settings
- If your printer's Wi-Fi setup has been disrupted, access the printer’s setup menu to reconfigure the network settings.
- You may need to use the HP Smart app or the printer’s built-in Wi-Fi setup wizard to perform this.
Reinstall Printer Drivers
- Sometimes the printer drivers need refreshing. Go to the HP Support page to download and install the latest drivers for your HP DeskJet 3755.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility from the HP website. This tool can help diagnose and resolve connectivity issues.
Advanced Troubleshooting
Restart HP Smart Install Wizard:
- Insert the installation CD that came with your printer, or download the printer software from HP’s website.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the printer and connect it to Wi-Fi.
Check Firewall Settings:
- On your computer, ensure that firewall settings or security software is not blocking the printer’s connection.
Let me know how it goes.
