HP Color Laser 150nw

Hi, I have a HP Color Laser 150nw, I print correctly from Windows, it's configured on the network with wifi, but I can't print from the Chromebook, any ideas on how to configure the printer?

The ip is reserved by dhcp, I tried with multiple protocols, when I print I see the printer LED flash and then... nothing.

Thanks for any help

Hi @LucaMeneghello,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To configure the HP Color Laser 150nw printer on your Chromebook, follow the steps below.

  • Turn on your printer and make sure it's connected to your Wi-Fi network.
  • On your Chromebook, click on the time in the bottom right corner and select the Settings icon.
  • In the Settings window, scroll down to the "Advanced" section and click on it.
  • Under the "Printing" section, click on "Printers".
  • Click on "Add Printer".
  • If your HP Color Laser 150nw is detected, it will appear in the list of available printers. Click on it to select it.
  • If your printer is not detected, click on the "Add Manually" button.
  • In the "Add Printer" window, select "HP" as the manufacturer and "HP Color Laser 150nw" as the model.
  • Click on "Add".
  • Your HP Color Laser 150nw should now be configured on your Chromebook and ready to use.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thanks for the reply,

I think the problem is this: I can't find the model among the available printers.

I see other model, but not the mine, I checked that chrome os is up to date.

If I write the complete model, the field is empty: HP Coloro Laser 150nw.

I tried some other printer driver, without success.

At the moment I solved with PaperCut MobilityPrint, but I need to use a Windows PC like server

If there is another way to print with native drivers, that would be great 🙂
