How to connect offline HP Printer:
So this is not a question but a solution that I finally found after checking countless forums and talking to hp experts and my internet provider, and having nothing work. I finally found the answer and thought I should share it for anyone else out there who is like me who is at their wits end, and doesn't want change printers or routers. This is also to solve the issue of when the printer keeps saying that the WPA security password is wrong even though you know it's right.
Here is the solution:
First make sure that your Wi-Fi password is correct.
Then make sure that you have a Wi-Fi address that connects to 2.4 GHz, because the older printers can't connect to the new 5.0 GHz.
Here is the answer I found after countless tries:
Make sure that the security for your printer matches the security that your router has, so it should say WPA or WPA1 for both your router and your printer. I found it that's why it wouldn't connect and I finally was able to connect. Also make sure that your computer that you're printing from is connected to the wireless that is 2.4 GHz the same as your printer. To change the wireless security settings to WPA or wpa1 from WPA2 to make it work you have to go to the router online website unless you have a touch screen for your router and the website should be on the back of your router and it'll tell you what to go to it should be something similar to http //192.123.1.95
Note: The above router number is just an example, to make it work you have to put in the correct number for your specific router.
