Hi @Vhin007,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To connect your HP DeskJet 3639 to a new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
Step 1: Reset the Wireless Settings
- Turn on the Printer: Ensure your printer is powered on.
- Access the Control Panel: Press the Wireless button on the printer.
- Reset Wireless Settings: Hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button together for about 3 seconds. The printer's wireless settings will reset.
Step 2: Connect to the New Wi-Fi Network
- Press the Wireless Button: The wireless light should start blinking.
- Press the WPS Button on Your Router: If your router supports WPS, press the WPS button within 2 minutes of pressing the wireless button on the printer. The printer should connect automatically.
- If your router does not support WPS, proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Use the HP Smart App (Alternative Method)
- Download the HP Smart App: If you don’t have it yet, download the HP Smart app from the Google Play Store.
- Open the App: Launch the app and sign in or create an account.
- Add Your Printer: Tap on the + sign to add your printer. The app will guide you through connecting the printer to your new Wi-Fi network.
- Follow the Prompts: When prompted, choose your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Step 4: Connect Your Android Phone
- Ensure Printer is Connected: Make sure the printer is connected to the new Wi-Fi network.
- Connect via HP Smart App: Open the HP Smart app on your Android phone. It should automatically detect the printer on the same network.
Step 5: Print a Test Page
- After connecting, print a test page from the HP Smart app to ensure everything is working correctly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
