@Rhodes082369, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
To connect your HP OfficeJet Pro 9018e printer to your mobile hotspot, follow these steps:
Turn on your mobile hotspot
- Ensure your mobile device’s hotspot is active and broadcasting.
- Note the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password.
Access the printer’s control panel
- On the printer’s touchscreen, tap the Wi-Fi icon or go to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
Run Wireless Setup Wizard
- Tap Wireless Setup Wizard.
- The printer will search for available networks.
Select your hotspot
- From the list of networks, choose your mobile hotspot’s name (SSID).
- Enter the password when prompted.
Confirm connection
- Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon on the printer should show a solid connection.
- You can also print a Network Configuration Page to verify the connection.
Test the Connection
- Try printing a document from your phone or computer while connected to the same hotspot.
- If using the HP Smart app, ensure your device is on the same network as the printer.
