@Saroj06, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Connecting an HP Printer to a Wi-Fi Network!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your printer was previously connected to a Wi-Fi network that is no longer available, follow these steps to reconnect it to a new Wi-Fi network.
Connect a Printer with a Touchscreen
Use the network or wireless settings on the printer touchscreen to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
Steps:
Place the Printer Near the Router:
- Ensure the printer is close to your Wi-Fi router.
Load Paper:
- Make sure paper is loaded into the input tray, and turn on the printer.
Restore Network Settings:
- From the Wireless
or Setup
menu, select Network Setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings.
Get Network Name and Password:
- Obtain the wireless network name (SSID) and the password.
Start Wireless Setup Wizard:
- From the Setup, Network, or Wireless settings menu, select Wireless Setup Wizard.
Select Network and Enter Password:
- Select your network from the list, and then enter the password.
Connect a Printer Without a Touchscreen
Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
Place the Printer Near the Router:
- Keep the printer close to the Wi-Fi router.
Put Printer in WPS Mode:
- For printers without a touchscreen control panel, on the control panel, press and hold the Wi-Fi button
for 5 seconds until the light starts flashing.
Press the WPS Button on the Router:
- Within 2 minutes, press and hold the WPS button
on the router until the connection process starts.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
