Dear Community,
all the help functions and support does not allow me to find a way to delete an HP Smart account.
Info that one could select under profile is not correct.
I created accounts as I wanted to enable printing via ePrint etc. - just to learn that I must enter the email addresses prior to create such accounts into the list of users connected to the printer - otherwise the printer does not accept the HP account email address anymore....
Would be great if anyone could help to fix. The solution to request via privacy statement / law to delete the account (there is not specific line to enter in the form) looks not really promising...
I would not have assumed that this get's so cumbersome.... either I overlooked something very simple or the setup offers huge potential to get improved 😁
Many thanks in advance for any help / solution you could offer to fix.

@highländer, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
If you're experiencing difficulties deleting your HP Smart account through the profile settings and facing issues with ePrint account creation, there's a structured approach you can follow to address this:
Steps for Managing HP Smart Accounts:
Verify Email Account Associations:
- Ensure that the email addresses used for the HP Smart and ePrint accounts are the same and correctly entered. The printer might reject accounts not pre-associated with it as users.
Check User Management Settings:
- Access the user management settings on your ePrint-enabled HP printer. Verify that the email address you are using is added as an authorized user.
Revisit Account Creation Process:
- For ePrint-specific accounts, make sure to follow the correct procedure for adding users to your printer's user list, which might involve administrative approval or pre-configuration steps on the device itself.
MyHPSupport Registration:
- If you're encountering issues with registration or deletion, ensure you're registered through MyHPSupport properly, as this platform provides a management interface for cases and support interactions.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.

Dear @Garp_senchau,
many thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, still, whatever I try and whereever I add the email addresses which I by mistake used for creating an additional HP Smart account can not be added to the same printer (there is no other printer added at all)
Why trying to add in "admin account" as additional user the error message appears
"xx@xxx.de" ist bereits einem persönlichen Account zugewiesen und kann derzeit keinem anderen persönlichen Account zugewiesen werden. Für weitere Informationen wenden Sie sich bitte an den HP Support.
which means that email is assigned to a personal account and can not be used "invited" to the same printer....
Not sure which additional settings I could try to get this fixed ....
Kindly asking for your help., please
Many thanks
Cheers
