I understand you are trying to delete or disable Wi-Fi Direct on your HP Smart Tank 7005 All-In-One Printer, follow these steps:
Open the HP Smart App:
- If you haven't installed the HP Smart App, download it from the HP website or your device’s app store.
- Open the HP Smart App and ensure your printer is connected.
Access Printer Settings:
- In the HP Smart App, select your HP Smart Tank 7005 printer.
- Click on the “Printer Settings” or “Advanced Settings” option.
Disable Wi-Fi Direct:
- Look for a section called “Wi-Fi Direct” or “Wireless Settings.”
- Find the option to disable or turn off Wi-Fi Direct.
- Confirm your selection if prompted.
Alternatively, you can disable Wi-Fi Direct directly from the printer's control panel:
- Using the Printer Control Panel:
- On your printer’s control panel, locate and press the “Wireless” button.
- Navigate to “Wi-Fi Direct Settings” using the control panel’s navigation buttons.
- Select “Wi-Fi Direct” and choose the option to turn it off or disable it.
After disabling Wi-Fi Direct, try reconnecting your printer to your Wi-Fi network:
- Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- On the printer’s control panel, press the “Wireless” button.
- Select “Wireless Settings” and then “Wireless Setup Wizard.”
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network.
