How can I delete the memory from an HP OfficeJet Pro 8035?

Hi @ChathamGal1

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand you need to delete memory (clear personal or print data) from your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 printer.

Option 1: Network Reset (Removes Wi-Fi settings only)

If you just want to disconnect the printer from your network:

From the printer control panel, tap Settings (gear icon).

Go to Network Setup > Restore Network Settings.

Confirm reset.
→ Printer forgets all Wi-Fi info.

Option 2: Factory Reset (Clear All Personal Data)

This will:

Erase fax logs, scan destinations, cloud logins, preferences

Keep firmware version intact

Steps:

On the printer’s touchscreen, tap the Settings (gear icon).

Go to:
Settings > Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore Factory Defaults

Confirm when prompted.

⚠️ This cannot be undone. The printer will reboot and start fresh, like out of the box.

Let me know if your printer is stuck, glitching, or being recycled/sold—I can tailor the best reset approach.
