I recently moved and had to sign up with a new internet service provider and obtain a new router / modem etc. The HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202w printer will not connect to the new wifi network. I have consulted every troubleshooting guide I can find online to no avail. They all say to hold the cancel and wifi buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds, release (results in wifi button blinking), and find the new wifi network via the HP Smart app. The app never detects the printer.
Is there a way to simply do a "hard reset" on this printer so that I can just start this process again as if the printer were new out of the box?
I called the customer support line, and the POS on the other end hung up on me without even attempting to address the issue. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I immediately called back, stated that I had just called about this issue, and suggested that the call was dropped. He immediately hung up on me again! 0/10, absolutely worthless service, and that's really saying something, given how low the bar is.

@SILPHIUM
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help.
Check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'. Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records. The software comes built-in with Apple's macOS and iOS operating systems.
Also, ask them what's the encryption type of your network.
Let us know 🙂
Thanks 🙂
